Summer & Tristan | The Arlo

Two teachers that fell for each other in college, name a cuter love story? Summer and Tristan wed at The Arlo in Austin, TX for a beautiful June wedding surrounded by family and friends. With an indoor, modern, black and white interior, The Arlo was exactly what Summer and Tristan envisioned for their wedding venue. When Summer set her eyes on The Arlo’s bridal suite and groom’s cottage, she knew it was everything she had wanted and more.

Storie Hall, The Arlo’s breathtaking chapel, has high ceilings with acoustics that ripple through the room. A large window that perfectly illuminated the moment the pair walked down the aisle, to the moment they exchanged vows, was sure to encapsulate that classic and timeless wedding Summer had always dreamed of. 

The day was full of laughter (and sobs *cough cough* Tristan!!!) and a crowd that kept the dance floor packed all night! Summer and Tristan ended the night with a cold spark grand exit that descended down the famous Arlo staircase as everyone cheered from below and followed the pair to their Mercedes Benz getaway car.

Originally from South Illinois, Summer moved to Austin to attend school at Concordia University, which is where she and Tristan initially met. Tristan is from Georgetown, Texas and works as a high school history teacher, and also coaches boys basketball. Tristan proposed at Sekrit Theater in East Austin to a totally surprised Summer, who thought the proposal would be happening in a couple of weeks when her family came down to visit her. How sweet!
