A The Arlo Wedding Full of Heart, Heritage, and a Whole Lot of Joy

Marisa and Marcos’ The Arlo wedding was the perfect blend of tradition, celebration, and twelve years of undeniable love. These high school acquaintances turned soulmates have built a life full of laughter, loyalty, and shared memories—including their beloved dog Nala, who even made an appearance at their unforgettable New Year’s Eve proposal overlooking the Austin skyline.

From the very start of their day at The Arlo, it was clear that this celebration was all about family, heritage, and honoring their story. One of the most joyful moments came just after their ceremony when Marisa and Marcos led a second line parade—mariachi band and all—from the ceremony to cocktail hour. Inspired by Diana’s own wedding, it was a vibrant and heartfelt nod to culture and community, and it brought an energy that carried throughout the entire day.

The design was elevated yet warm, with beautiful florals by Bouquets of Austin and thoughtful details from Made & True. Guests sipped cocktails from Full Spectrum Ice cubes, mingled among playful touches like mini golf from Austin Yard Games, and danced the night away thanks to DJ Nixx. Every moment felt like a reflection of who these two are—grounded, fun-loving, and completely in sync.

Marisa and Marcos’ love story began with a Facebook comment and a pool party invite, and has since grown into a love that’s both steady and sparkling. Their Arlo wedding was a stunning celebration of all the years they’ve spent together and the future they’re building side by side.
