Originally from Colorado, Joe met CodyAnn, a Texas native, on opening day for the Colorado Rockies in 2018. 3 years later, Joe proposed to CodyAnn during a family reunion in East Texas. They would eventually settle down their roots in San Antonio after Joe accepted a new job opportunity.

CodyAnn & Joe chose Canyon Lake for their engagement session and I couldn’t have been more thrilled. Located in between Austin and San Antonio (just north-west of New Braunfels), Canyon Lake has several parks within, but Overlook Park was the winner for us. This Park is filled with a little bit of everything- trees, trails, golden fields, and access to the lake!

This was my first time photographing at Canyon Lake and it sure did not disappoint! There are so many amazing photo spots at this location- I couldn’t be happier with their gallery!
